The Custom Jewellery Process

THE DESIGNING

In the beginning Alice will go over initial design concepts with you to gain clarity around the style and design that you are most drawn to. She will then do initial drawings around these ideas and give you a quote alongside videos of any gemstones you might like to include.

If you decide to go ahead with one of the designs a deposit is taken for Alice to book in and start work on your one-of-a-kind piece. The making process from here is always a collaboration between you and Alice, with your vision for your special bespoke piece making the magic happen along the way.

THE MAKING

The design then starts life as a 3D model in either wax or silver which will be sent over as images or videos of for your feedback. At this point you will have the opportunity to make two rounds of alterations if needed, before your design is created in your chosen precious metal.

Once the piece is created in metal you will receive a further update with a photo, and if any gemstones have been chosen for the design these are then set and the piece is hallmarked at the Birmingham Assay Office.

Final videos and photos are sent over to you before the final payment is settled and your unique custom jewellery is ready for posting out or collection.
